La Trobe’s Cottage
La Trobe’s Cottage is Melbourne’s oldest surviving building. It was the home of Charles Joseph La Trobe, Victoria’s first Lieutenant-Governor.
The quaint cottage is still imbued with the family charm with a heartfelt garden re-created using plants available in the 1840s and 1850s.
This unique and charming garden wedding ceremony venue in Melbourne is the perfect location for a couple who want privacy on their special day. The property allows only one wedding at a time, therefore ensuring that you have exclusive use of the space for your wedding.
Weddings of Distinction is privileged to be La Trobe’s Cottage’s recommended supplier of garden wedding ceremony decorations.
Weddings of Distinction can assist you with all of your wedding hire and decor requirements, such as white wooden, Americana or Tiffany chairs, market umbrellas, aisle carpets/runners, arches & arbours, signing tables and silk/artificial florals.
